About the role
- Manage regulatory/tax projects with a focus on ICMS in a banking environment
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, from planning through delivery
- Maintain continuous interface with IT, Tax, Legal, Business and Compliance teams
- Ensure compliance with deadlines, scope, budget and quality
- Support process structuring and decomposition in collaboration with Agile teams
- Conduct monitoring rituals (status reports, steering committees, executive checkpoints)
- Manage risks, dependencies and regulatory impacts
- Act as the project's focal point with bank leadership
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a banking institution
- Experience in projects related to ICMS, taxation, or regulatory matters
- Experience in technology/system projects
- Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders
- Practical knowledge of project management methodologies (traditional and/or Agile)
- Excellent communication, organizational skills and systems thinking
- Experience in core banking migration or replacement projects
- Experience working in highly regulated environments
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Project management certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum certifications, etc.)
