About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess and revamp standardized payroll processes and data management
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners to align processes with company policies and best practices
- Lead automation initiatives and integrate technology to improve process efficiency
- Process accurate and timely end-to-end monthly payroll
- Prepare payroll reports for different jurisdictions
- Manage relationships with external payroll providers and resolve complex queries and complaints
- Review outsourced payroll information for accuracy
- Ensure monthly payroll changes are complete and accurate
- Maintain payroll processing systems and records using BambooHR and Microsoft Excel
- Respond to payroll queries from employees, business partners, and vendors
- Liaise with HR, Finance, auditors, pension providers, social welfare, Revenue/HRMC, and other external institutions
- Provide manual calculations and payments when required
- Monitor payroll-related regulatory changes
- Prepare employee pension payments for external pension providers
- Prepare and execute regional tax requirements, including P11D medical insurance preparation and IR86 Health Returns for Asia
Requirements
What you’ll need- Recent and relevant experience in a Senior Payroll position
- Strong working knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient knowledge of HRIS and Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Outlook
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and proven track record in a similar role
- Ability to use initiative and seek direction when appropriate
- Ability to anticipate problems and generate solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and targets
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
- Third level education preferred
- Payroll Technician qualification desirable
