About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and deliver all onboarding and launch projects, including complex launches, large strategic client relationships, and ETF relationships
- Act as lead contact with Fund Boards, Investment Managers, Fund Administrators, Depositaries, Auditors, and Legal Advisors during new fund launches
- Serve as an escalation point for team members and interface with senior management on client onboarding issues
- Oversee projects to ensure operational efficiency and financial profitability
- Plan future launches and allocate resources across domiciles
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement processes to maintain compliance
- Identify and implement procedural changes, lead training, and ensure ongoing adherence
- Keep Salesforce, Compass, and relevant management information up to date
- Maintain and distribute accurate, timely management information reporting
- Attend relevant training sessions and ensure teams understand changing operational and regulatory requirements
- Represent Waystone at external events and support clients and funds from commercial and governance perspectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- An internationally recognized professional qualification
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in an investment funds environment
- Knowledge of AIFMD, UCITS, and MiFID
- Client-facing background
- Presentation and project management skills
- Enhanced interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and focus on delivering quality work
- Commercial awareness and understanding of business environments
- Ability to work as an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player
