About the role

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent in Health Information Management
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) role
- Certification as a Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) or Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of medical record coding, healthcare billing, and revenue cycle management (preferred)
- 5+ years of clinical experience in an acute care setting (preferred)
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) (preferred)
- Ability to travel for department and company meetings
