Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent in Health Information Management
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) role
  • Certification as a Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) or Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of medical record coding, healthcare billing, and revenue cycle management (preferred)
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in an acute care setting (preferred)
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) (preferred)
  • Ability to travel for department and company meetings
