About the role
- The Area Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of the Wawa Customer Experience
- Coach and develop General Managers
- Achieve market level financial goals
- Ensure continued growth of store-level management teams
- Maintain a continuous presence in the stores across all days and shifts
- Improve business acumen of store leadership
- Ensure timely, effective, and professional communication with internal and external customers
- Lead implementation and change management of new initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree Business, Marketing or related field – preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in multi-unit management in Retail or the Food & Beverage industry
- Proven track record in managing and developing leaders of teams
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license
