About the role

  • The Area Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of the Wawa Customer Experience
  • Coach and develop General Managers
  • Achieve market level financial goals
  • Ensure continued growth of store-level management teams
  • Maintain a continuous presence in the stores across all days and shifts
  • Improve business acumen of store leadership
  • Ensure timely, effective, and professional communication with internal and external customers
  • Lead implementation and change management of new initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree Business, Marketing or related field – preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in multi-unit management in Retail or the Food & Beverage industry
  • Proven track record in managing and developing leaders of teams
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license
