About the role
- Report directly to the executive team throughout consulting assignments for financial risk management clients
- Manage a small team of professionals including employees and client resources
- Identify, plan, coordinate, verify deliverables on customer engagements
- Ensure data and information related to projects are managed within budget and time constraints
- Collaborate with IT sponsors to establish project goals and risk assessments
- Manage approved funding and cooperate with architecture team members
- Create and manage a realistic project plan with buy-in from all resources
- Deliver status reports to stakeholders and maintain communication among teams
- Manage projects related to data warehouse, ETL, and reporting systems
- Work closely with support teams to manage transition and warranty period
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, or closely related field
- 3 years of work experience in a financial risk consultant role or closely related occupation
- Demonstrated ability applying mathematical concepts using SAS software in a financial services setting
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial regulatory standards including IFRS 9, IFRS 17, and CECL
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAS reporting and management modules
