About the role

  • Develop and implement market strategies for SAP solutions (S/4HANA, BTP, Cloud) within defined industries or segments
  • Own portfolio development: identify market needs, derive solution offerings and coordinate with our delivery teams
  • Work closely with Marketing to position SAP offerings, develop campaigns and establish thought leadership
  • Lead the presales process: run workshops, create value messaging and deliver proposal presentations
  • Build and maintain strategic customer relationships (C-level), especially in Industry and the Public sector
  • Coordinate bid processes and contribute to tenders and RFPs
  • Contribute to the go-to-market strategy and the continuous development of our portfolio roadmap
  • Manage the content and organization of proposals and tenders
  • Represent Wavestone at events, conferences and client meetings (Germany/Austria)

Requirements

  • 3–8 years of experience in the SAP domain, ideally in Business Development, Presales or Portfolio Management
  • 2–5 years of experience collaborating with delivery teams and/or marketing
  • Solid expertise in at least one area: SAP S/4HANA transformations, SAP Sales & Service Cloud, SAP SD, SAP MM or FI/CO
  • Ability to analyze market trends strategically and translate them into portfolio initiatives
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; experience with Value Selling, Design Thinking or Solution Selling
  • Structured, self‑driven workstyle and strong team orientation
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and workshops
  • Industry knowledge (Energy, Public, Insurance) or experience in market development is an advantage
  • A degree in Business, IT or Engineering is a plus
