About the role
- Engage directly with clients to guide and execute change initiatives, ensuring that each phase—from planning through implementation—is well‑managed and aligned with project goals.
- Lead and facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and project discussions to define change impacts, build alignment, and maintain momentum throughout the engagement.
- Support proposal development by contributing change management strategies, frameworks, and deliverables tailored to each client’s needs.
- Lead structured workstreams and small projects by bringing order to ambiguity, addressing stakeholder resistance, mitigating risks, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery, and achieving high‑value change outcomes.
- Collaborate with an internal network of skilled consultants to solve client problems and deliver high impact projects.
- Work closely with diverse teams to deliver results and foster an environment to recognize and reward individual and team achievements.
- Present findings both internally at Wavestone and externally to clients that include data acquisition and insights.
- Build rapport and nurture relationships with clients to identify collaborative efforts and propose new business opportunities.
- Continually evolve and build a knowledge base (emergent trends, technologies, and approaches).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in variety of disciplines to include Finance, Accounting, Business, or other relevant fields.
- Master’s/MBA degree preferred.
- 2 or more years’ business consulting experience with an emphasis on change management in areas such as business strategy, operational transformation, M&A integration, organizational effectiveness and/or marketing and innovation.
- Prior work experience from a variety of business projects.
- Project delivery work experience supporting well-developed workstreams and small projects.
- Well-developed financial and business acumen from working in a variety of business functions including supply chain, finance, operations, IT, HR, marketing, and sales.
- Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Expertise in multiple project management tools.
- Ability to create simple solutions in complex and unclear situations and synthesize a path forward.
- Leadership skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated strategic big picture thinking paired with the ability to pivot and deep dive into the details as required.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office products including the ability to develop compelling communication of complex concepts using PowerPoint.
- Strong written and oral communications skills, including the ability to communicate concisely and clearly at both line and senior management levels.
- Ability to travel based on client requirements.
