About the role

  • You will shape the digital transformation of grid planning, grid operation and asset management — strategically, process-wise and technologically.
  • You will analyze and optimize core systems in the smart grid domain — e.g., IoT, SCADA, EDM/MDM, grid planning and grid calculation tools.
  • You will advise at the interface between business, IT and management — focusing on end-to-end processes and reliable data flows.
  • You will advise clients on building an impact-oriented asset management approach — emphasizing efficiency, operational reliability and economic value.
  • You will successfully lead complex projects — with technical depth, methodological clarity and a strong sense of customer needs.
  • You will further develop existing client relationships and proactively identify new consulting opportunities.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in consulting or transformation projects within the energy sector — particularly with a focus on grid operation, grid planning or grid control.
  • Solid knowledge of IT systems used in the energy industry — especially SCADA, EDM/MDM as well as grid planning and grid calculation tools.
  • Experience working at the interface between business and IT and in managing complex projects in a regulated environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working and enthusiasm for innovation and digital solutions.
  • Fluent German and English skills and willingness to travel.
