Assist in the implementation and monitoring of IT security controls across hardware, software, and network systems.
Support vulnerability assessments, patch management, and endpoint protection efforts.
Help monitor security logs and alerts to identify potential threats or breaches.
Participate in the documentation of security procedures, incident response plans, and compliance reports.
Contribute to global security projects, including identity and access management, data protection, and threat intelligence.
Ensure IT assets are securely inventoried, tracked, and maintained in accordance with company policies.
Respond to security-related support requests and assist in resolving user access issues.
Requirements
Current sophomore or junior pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, including firewalls, encryption, and network security.
Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS, and basic command-line usage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in threat detection and mitigation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in documenting technical processes.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to learning.
Passionate about contributing to a secure and resilient IT environment.
Demonstrated integrity, respect, and accountability in team interactions.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
