About the role

  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess the potential impact on the organization
  • Maintain EHS compliance programs aligned with national, regional, and local regulations
  • Support sites globally relative to legal obligations, company requirements, and other obligations
  • Lead the internal EHS audit program including auditor development/training and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS requirements into business processes
  • Support EHS integration post M&A activities
  • Lead onboarding for new hired EHS professionals
  • Deliver training and awareness programs to promote compliance and safety culture
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs), data analytics, and execute trend analysis
  • Implement EHS Framework program consistency across the globe
  • Lead the global ISO14001 Environmental Management System certification and ISO45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System and certifications
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding environmental and safety practices
  • Analyze the effectiveness of the EHS program against business KPIs
  • Lead the identification of environmental risks & opportunities and execute improvement plans
  • Perform other duties as may be required.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of EHS experience, preferably in industrial manufacturing
  • 3+ years’ experience in environmental regulatory compliance and/or process safety in the metalworking or chemical industry preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience with EHS management systems and audit protocols
  • Lift up to 25 pounds
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) are a plus.
