About the role
- Responsible for all quality control and inspection from assigned site/factories.
- Expected to do inspection for all shipments out of assigned site/factories.
- Take responsibility for the components from outsourced suppliers, mostly Iron casting.
- Help ensure the quality of their machining workshop.
- Help ensure the quality of their assembly workshop.
- Take ownership of assigned supplier shipment quality control.
- Make sure all products are inspected before delivery.
- Collect and summary the inspection date, report to related team.
- Provide effective and professional support to shipment activities, when needed.
- Address timely and effective communication internally and externally.
- Escalate the critical issues to management for support, when necessary.
- Support other SQE to get more clear information for quality issue from related plant.
- Other job assigned by leader.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of Quality control or inspection related experience.
- Have iron & SS casting process & quality control experience.
- Have experience Iron and SS machining quality control experience.
- Valve or similar products work experience are preferred.
- Professional skills: Can read the drawings and use measuring instruments;
- Computer: Basic skills in operating office software (such as Word, Excel, etc.)
- Communication skills: good expression skills and be able to communicate effectively
- Language skills: Mandiran & English (Reading & Writing)
