• The Civil Technologist, Geotechnical Materials Testing plays a key role in supporting construction and geotechnical projects through field testing, inspection, and reporting activities.
• This position is responsible for conducting materials testing on construction sites, including compaction testing, asphalt and concrete sampling, and pile monitoring.
• Conduct field inspections in accordance with applicable project specifications and industry standards.
• Prepare and submit daily compaction reports.
• Complete field safety reports and related project documentation.
• Maintain accurate testing records and field notes.
• Operate a nuclear densometer safely and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, contractors, and clients on field-related matters.
