About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build new products and features for Watershed’s biggest customers and most complex use cases
- Work across our full stack, with an emphasis on back-end systems and data models
- Partner with Product Management and Design to understand user workflows and needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Partner with AI engineers and climate scientists to build ergonomic and trustworthy agentic workflows
- Lead by example by writing performant, well-crafted, extensible, and maintainable code
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of software engineering industry experience across both front-end and back-end, with an emphasis on back-end
- A track record of ownership and high-impact projects
- Experience building early-stage products
- Experience with, or interest in, building AI-powered and data-centric products
