Business Development Rep

• Sell transportation and logistics services to customers with diverse needs and requirements through prospecting, cold calling, and leveraging third party relationships.
• Grow business opportunities through generating sales leads, soliciting new accounts, and increasing services to current customers
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline of opportunities that contribute gross profit to the organization
• Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning and forecasting: maintain short and long-term business development plans
• Create and deliver sales presentations to customers
• Engage with internal and external business teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve performance, service, customer satisfaction, and margin on accounts.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, as well as customer and internal company stakeholders
• Conduct periodic internal and external business reviews.
• Monitor account net revenue trends to ensure the correct margins are setup on each product and/or service
• Create customer account structure in CRM following the company's global standards, and ensure CRM data integrity at all times
• Participate in the creation of value-added solutions for customer’s logistics needs, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit calculations
• Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork.
• When needed, support accounts receivable (AR) collection.
