  • Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment and tools
  • Clean workpieces with a grinder or scraper

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Knowledge of abrasives and metal conditions
  • Ability to operate grinders
  • Ability to use hoists, cranes, or forklifts
  • Ability to use bracing and measurement tools
  • Ability to perform subassembly work
  • Ability to assist with bolting metal components
