About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate the activities of all staff, including Technicians, Welders, and Painters, repairing customer refuse containers onsite and offsite
  • Assign work orders to appropriate team members to meet customer commitments
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure work matches customer or service-order requests
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance
  • Communicate goals and expectations and provide timely feedback
  • Interact with customers to provide status updates, obtain information, and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Provide daily work-order progress updates to management
  • Work with team members to resolve issues or request support
  • Travel by vehicle to customer locations, either driving or as a passenger
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years’ experience as a supervisor
  • Knowledge of commercial trash cans and roll-offs
  • Experience leading teams
  • Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions
  • Able to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic components
  • General mechanical abilities
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to ride in a vehicle for long periods of time
