About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain accurate inventory records by monitoring transactions and investigating discrepancies
Perform inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities
Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages or excess inventory
Maintain inventory organization and proper material identification
Coordinate inventory adjustments and document inventory variances
Support continuous improvement initiatives for inventory control and warehouse processes
Monitor and follow up on backordered parts with vendors
Obtain supplier ETAs and communicate updates to internal departments
Research and identify replacement parts using bills of materials, engineering drawings, parts manuals, and vendor resources
Coordinate part availability to support production schedules and customer orders
Prepare and submit purchase requisitions
Work with Purchasing to expedite critical orders and resolve supply issues
Monitor open purchase requests and follow up on outstanding orders
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED required
2–5 years of inventory control, purchasing, warehouse administration, or parts coordination experience
Manufacturing or heavy equipment industry experience preferred
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems preferred
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to work in both an office and warehouse environment
Frequent use of a computer and standard office equipment
