About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overseeing key aspects of financial control for the projects
Maintaining client budget reporting
Monitoring and reporting on budget status for internal management reporting purposes
Tracking profit margins for individual elements of the project
Liaising with shared service center team
Oversight of client invoicing and cash collection on the projects
Providing commercial support to Project Managers
Supporting supplier on-boarding process
Preparation and execution of local payroll
Key liaison with local banking providers
Maintenance of tight cash control
Maintenance of cash flow forecasting for the project
Preparing weekly cashflow forecast for group submission
Ensuring business compliance with group controls, processes and policies
Providing financial information to key management as and when required
Ensuring compliance with all applicable taxes and duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Qualified accountant, ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Fluent in English and Portuguese
Commercial mindset and approach
Knowledge and experience of Brazilian laws and customs
Excellent Excel Skills
Experience of working in multi-currency environment
Experience of working as a project accountant or within a project team desirable
Experience of using Workday desirable
Strong Analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confident and self assured in order to be able to work with senior project leaders
Pro-active approach and positive attitude
