About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain an active and full schedule of sponsorship prospect meetings focused on selling the full range of Fan Foundry Youth Partnership marketing and partnership opportunities across youth sports, camps, music, and swim education platforms.
- Cultivate new corporate marketing partner relationships to drive sustainable sponsor revenue growth.
- Develop dynamic sales presentations and proposals for prospective marketing partners by incorporating research, category insights, and a deep understanding of each partner’s marketing and advertising goals.
- Leverage Fan Foundry’s partnership network and events to engage, collaborate with, and entertain current and prospective partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across partner organizations to create impactful, customized partnership platforms.
- Negotiate and finalize marketing partnership agreements in alignment with company objectives and revenue targets.
- Oversee and ensure the successful activation of all marketing partner programs in collaboration with members of the Wasserman and and Fan Foundry leadership teams.
- Coordinate with other Wasserman internal departments to identify cross-selling opportunities and share best practices.
- Provide accurate, reliable weekly sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree required; concentration in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Established network of corporate and agency contacts within the local or regional market.
- Proven success in developing innovative sales campaigns and consistently closing new business.
- Strong background in sports marketing, sponsorship sales, media, or promotional partnerships.
- Highly organized, creative, and driven professional with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented team player with the ability to meet individual and collective revenue targets.
- Excellent client relationship and customer service orientation.
- Strong project management, presentation, and proposal development skills.
- Must be available to travel locally and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
