About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Complete health histories and physical examinations and convey findings to physicians
  • Coordinate patient care and order diagnostic tests
  • Attend inpatient rounds
  • Coordinate patient appointments and assist with outside referrals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Registered Nursing
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Two years of nursing experience
  • Current RN licensure in Missouri and/or Illinois, in accordance with the Compact Act
  • Basic Life Support certification, or certification obtained within one month of employment
  • Online BLS certifications without a skills assessment component are insufficient
  • Clinical experience
  • Clinical research coordination, management, methods, and operations
  • Critical thinking
  • Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Epic EHR
  • Database management
  • Spreadsheet software
  • Statistical Analysis Software (SAS)
