About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee purchasing and inventory control of the warehouse
  • Order and receive parts and goods into inventory
  • Negotiate and secure pricing for materials
  • Verify incoming shipments against bills of lading and invoices
  • Keep records of goods received and report damaged goods and shortages
  • Maintain the warehouse in an orderly arrangement
  • Utilize Yardi software to track and maintain inventory
  • Review and process purchase orders, bills of lading, and invoices
  • Audit all items received
  • Work with the accounts payable coordinator to process paperwork timely and obtain vendor credits when needed
  • Set up shipments with ground carriers
  • Set up new inventory items and update item costs in the inventory system
  • Distribute parts and maintain building and unit keys for vendors and the maintenance team
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification, or combination of education and/or experience
  • No specific certification or professional license required
  • No specific work experience required
  • Preferred: 3 years of warehouse experience
