About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of pediatric and adolescent sports injuries.
- Promote Pediatric Sports Medicine practice.
- Develop relationships with high school athletic trainers in St. Louis region.
- Assist in coordinating outreach and education programs on pediatric sports injuries.
- Assist Pediatric Sports Physician in the Operating Room.
- Provide clinical care including diagnosis, preoperative education, surgery, postoperative follow-up, and rehabilitation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- Athletic Trainers Certification (ATC) - National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA)
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Basic Life Support - American Red Cross
- Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date
- No specific work experience is required for this position.
