About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of pediatric and adolescent sports injuries.
  • Promote Pediatric Sports Medicine practice.
  • Develop relationships with high school athletic trainers in St. Louis region.
  • Assist in coordinating outreach and education programs on pediatric sports injuries.
  • Assist Pediatric Sports Physician in the Operating Room.
  • Provide clinical care including diagnosis, preoperative education, surgery, postoperative follow-up, and rehabilitation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Athletic Trainers Certification (ATC) - National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA)
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
  • Basic Life Support - American Red Cross
  • Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date
  • No specific work experience is required for this position.
