Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the work of Medical Assistants in a clinical operation
Prepare and maintain exam rooms
Obtain vital signs, conduct EKGs, complete phlebotomy, and verify medications
Assist with examinations, lab tests, and procedures
Direct patient flow and communication
Complete necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely manner
Maintain required HIPAA compliance and participate in quality improvement activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent certification or combination of education and/or experience
Registered or Certified Medical Assistant with three years of related work experience
Medical Assistant credentials from in-person proctored exams from specified certifying bodies
Ability to show proof of Medical Assistant certification/registration within a specified timeframe
Basic Life Support certification with skills assessment component
