About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides administrative support to the Vice Chair of Clinical Research, Department of Emergency Medicine Leadership, and Faculty within the Department Research Section
  • Handles confidential or sensitive information; drafts and finalizes letters, email messages and other communications
  • Manages Outlook calendar and schedules meetings
  • Plans and coordinates meetings and events, including vendor negotiations
  • Initiates, writes, creates and edits various communications
  • Arranges domestic and foreign travel for faculty/guests
  • Updates and maintains website for the EMERGE Summer Research Program
  • Coordinates special projects as assigned by the Research Director and Faculty leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
  • Administration and Office Support (5 Years)
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Relevant Experience (2 Years) (preferred)
  • Administrative Support, Computer Applications, Interact with All Levels of Management, Office Organization, Office Procedures, Teamwork, Working Independently (preferred)
