About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides build support for Epic & other Clinical applications as it relates to change requests, maintenance and project business demands
  • Responsible for configuring, documenting, testing, modifying, supporting and maintaining software applications
  • Builds collaborative relationships with hospital leadership, clinical department users, Technology, and other corporate departments...
  • Assists in designing, verifying, documenting, amending and refactoring moderately complex software configurations for deployment
  • Applies agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result
  • Collaborates in reviews of work with others as appropriate
  • Assists in the investigation and resolution of issues relating to applications
  • Follows agreed procedures to identify and resolve issues with applications
  • Uses application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics
  • Carries out agreed applications maintenance tasks
  • Assists with the design of test cases and test scripts, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes
  • Applies agreed standards to specify and perform manual and automated testing
  • Assists in the evaluation of design options and prototypes to obtain user feedback
  • Provides first line investigation and gathers information to enable incident resolution and allocate incidents
  • May be part of an after-hours on-call rotation
