About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leading team efforts on department specific collection within a payor
- Assisting staff with resolving department specific issues
- Identifying and resolving department and payor trends
- Assisting manager or supervisor with special projects
- Motivating staff and promoting team effort and department goals
- Resolving invoices within the team that require special attention
- Collaborating with the team to manage operational problems or backlog
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
- 2 years of experience in Insurance or Collection
- ICD 9 and CPT Coding skills
- No specific certification/professional license required
