About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary budget and financial support for multiple academic units
Prepare and administer departmental budgets, accounts, and reports
Ensure efficient and effective use of financial resources
Initiate/review purchasing transactions and maintain documentation
Process spend authorizations and travel expense reports
Review invoices and reimbursement requests for compliance
Monitor account balances and maintain encumbrances
Complete year-end financial closing procedures
Assist with post-award grant reporting and reconciliation duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
Accounting, Business, Administrative Support (3 Years)
No specific certification/professional license required
Bachelor's degree preferred
Accounting/Bookkeeping (4 Years) preferred
