About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Reporting directly to the University Chief Information Officer (CIO)
- Serve as a deputy for the CIO with a foundation in strategic leadership
- Oversee all IT services provided by WashU IT to the academic and administrative business units
- Enable IT and digital transformation programs through engagement with university strategic plans
- Develop, communicate and actively promote overall WashU IT business/technology plans
- Collaborate to develop and maintain a strategic plan supporting university's strategy for digital transformation
- Align the organization's application and information strategy with overall business strategy
- Engage with key stakeholders to promote and grow the adoption of technology initiatives
- Oversee planning and execution of strategic and critical tactical projects
- Build and oversee the AVC and executive directors for assigned organization
- Cultivate a culture of personal responsibility and accountability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
