About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides leadership, supervision, and coordination of patient care staff.
- Coordinates patient services with physicians and staff.
- Reviews, assists, and promotes the development of policies and procedures.
- Assists in preparation and control of department operational budget.
- Directs and coordinates activities of staff including performance evaluation.
- Provides direct patient care and administers medication as necessary.
- Promotes/maintains good public relations with patients and families.
- Acts as troubleshooter, contact person, counselor, and interviewer for patient care research.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Clinical experience (3 Years)
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Basic Life Support - American Red Cross
- Registered Nurse - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
- Registered Nurse - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- B.S.N. - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
