About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides leadership, supervision, and coordination of patient care staff.
  • Coordinates patient services with physicians and staff.
  • Reviews, assists, and promotes the development of policies and procedures.
  • Assists in preparation and control of department operational budget.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of staff including performance evaluation.
  • Provides direct patient care and administers medication as necessary.
  • Promotes/maintains good public relations with patients and families.
  • Acts as troubleshooter, contact person, counselor, and interviewer for patient care research.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Clinical experience (3 Years)
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
  • Basic Life Support - American Red Cross
  • Registered Nurse - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
  • Registered Nurse - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • B.S.N. - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
