About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with faculty and staff on instructional design
Support subject matter experts in content development
Assist in the creation of course material/media
Work with ID Studio and School of Medicine colleagues on multimedia
Promote instructional design services within WashU Medicine
Develop and manage project plans and communicate milestones
Provide consultation and training on educational technologies
Support the design of instructional materials for faculty
Attend and present at professional conferences

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate degree
1 year of experience in Development Of Educational/Training Materials
Knowledge of instructional design principles and pedagogical modalities
Experience with current educational technologies
Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas)
Experience with multimedia and graphic design software and web design tools
Experience developing project plans and managing multiple projects
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to thrive and lead in a collaborative environment
