About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handles all aspects of purchasing
  • Maintains journals, reconciles and reports Accounts Receivable
  • Processes daily cash receipts, divisional audits, and departmental accounts
  • Orders supplies and equipment, comparing prices and specifications
  • Maintains receipts and refunds on Financial System and IDX
  • Prepares journals to allocate income and verifies accuracy of refunds and charges
  • Handles maintenance contracts and renewals
  • Processes payment of services and goods received by appropriate documentation
  • Performs various audits and maintains receipts of daily deposits
  • Maintains varied accounting reports and purchasing documentation
  • Processes payments from mail and lock box, tracking daily receipts
  • Monitors incorrect orders and damaged goods from vendors, returning them as necessary
  • Assists with special projects and distributes paychecks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification
  • 5 years of Accounting/Purchasing experience
  • Some college accounting course work preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
