About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist investigators in coordinating clinical research studies focused on Epilepsy and rare pediatric diseases
  • Implement and manage all phases of study/protocol; ensure compliance with protocol guidelines and regulatory agency requirements
  • Establish record-keeping systems; assess and determine participants’ progress in the study
  • Analyze, investigate, and report adverse events; make relevant decisions regarding participant inclusion
  • Serve as liaison with funding or sponsoring agency; recruit and enroll study participants
  • Explain purpose of study and obtain informed consent packets from participants
  • Administer/tests lab and clinical assessments to ensure timely completion of protocol requirements
  • Evaluate and interpret collected clinical data; prepare oral or written presentations or reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education
  • Basic Life Support certification required (Online BLS certifications without a skills assessment component are not sufficient)
  • No specific work experience is required for this position.
