About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides specialized Human Capital Management (HCM) oversight and support
  • Addresses complex processes, policies, and transactions within the University
  • Responds quickly and effectively to departmental questions related to transactions
  • Serves as liaison for departmental communications and payroll regarding policies
  • Adheres to University and HR regulatory standards for data management and integrity
  • Audits and approves data including payroll transactions
  • Provides day-to-day leadership to the team executing data entry/management
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and follows up to ensure customer service standards
  • Collaborates proactively with internal University resources for best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4 Years of experience in a large, complex Human Resources/Payroll Service Center Environment
  • Proficient in Human Resource systems such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, etc.
  • Effective understanding and knowledge of FLSA regulations and employment law
  • Skills: Labor and Employment Law, Labor Standards, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Payroll Taxes
