About the role
- Provides specialized Human Capital Management (HCM) oversight and support
- Addresses complex processes, policies, and transactions within the University
- Responds quickly and effectively to departmental questions related to transactions
- Serves as liaison for departmental communications and payroll regarding policies
- Adheres to University and HR regulatory standards for data management and integrity
- Audits and approves data including payroll transactions
- Provides day-to-day leadership to the team executing data entry/management
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and follows up to ensure customer service standards
- Collaborates proactively with internal University resources for best practices
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4 Years of experience in a large, complex Human Resources/Payroll Service Center Environment
- Proficient in Human Resource systems such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, etc.
- Effective understanding and knowledge of FLSA regulations and employment law
- Skills: Labor and Employment Law, Labor Standards, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Payroll Taxes
