About the role
- Provides build support for Epic & other Clinical applications as it relates to change requests, maintenance and project business demands.
- Responsible for configuring, documenting, testing, modifying, supporting and maintaining software applications.
- Builds collaborative relationships with hospital leadership, clinical department users, Technology and other corporate departments to facilitate usage and acceptance of the system.
- Provides solutions or resolves end-user system issues.
- Assists in designing, verifying, documenting, amending and refactoring moderately complex software configurations for deployment.
- Applies agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result.
- Collaborates in reviews of work with others as appropriate.
- Assists in the investigation and resolution of issues relating to applications.
- Follows agreed procedures to identify and resolve issues with applications.
- Uses application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics.
- Carries out agreed applications maintenance tasks.
- Assists with the design of test cases and test scripts, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes.
- Applies agreed standards to specify and perform manual and automated testing.
- Assists in the evaluation of design options and prototypes to obtain user feedback on requirements of developing systems, products, services or devices.
- Checks systems, products, services or devices for adherence to applicable standards, guidelines, style guides, and legislation.
- Provides first line investigation and gathers information to enable incident resolution and allocate incidents.
- May be part of an after-hours on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Relevant Experience (1 Year)
- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.
- No specific certification/professional license is required for this position.
