About the role

  • Provides build support for Epic & other Clinical applications as it relates to change requests, maintenance and project business demands.
  • Responsible for configuring, documenting, testing, modifying, supporting and maintaining software applications.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with hospital leadership, clinical department users, Technology and other corporate departments to facilitate usage and acceptance of the system.
  • Provides solutions or resolves end-user system issues.
  • Assists in designing, verifying, documenting, amending and refactoring moderately complex software configurations for deployment.
  • Applies agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result.
  • Collaborates in reviews of work with others as appropriate.
  • Assists in the investigation and resolution of issues relating to applications.
  • Follows agreed procedures to identify and resolve issues with applications.
  • Uses application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics.
  • Carries out agreed applications maintenance tasks.
  • Assists with the design of test cases and test scripts, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes.
  • Applies agreed standards to specify and perform manual and automated testing.
  • Assists in the evaluation of design options and prototypes to obtain user feedback on requirements of developing systems, products, services or devices.
  • Checks systems, products, services or devices for adherence to applicable standards, guidelines, style guides, and legislation.
  • Provides first line investigation and gathers information to enable incident resolution and allocate incidents.
  • May be part of an after-hours on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Relevant Experience (1 Year)
  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.
  • No specific certification/professional license is required for this position.
