About the role
- Overseeing purchasing and inventory control of the warehouse
- Negotiating and securing pricing
- Receiving incoming shipments of merchandise or other materials
- Verifying correctness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, etc.
- Keeping records of goods received
- Reporting damaged goods and shortages
- Keeping stock in orderly arrangement
- Utilizing Yardi software to track and maintain inventory
- Purchase order processing and auditing of all received items
- Working closely with accounts payable coordinator to process paperwork in a timely manner
- Distributing parts and maintaining building and unit keys to vendors and the maintenance team
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
- No specific certification/professional license required
- Experience not required but warehouse experience preferred (3 years)
- Skills: Data Management, Multitasking, Oral Communications, Relationship Management, Time Management, Written Communication, Yardi
- A driver's license is not required
