About the role
- Acts as liaison to accounting departments to resolve issues and manage year-end process.
- Tracks and maintains online database of grants.
- Works with PIs to provide fund management and makes necessary budgetary changes.
- Approves purchasing documents and provides guidance on expenditures.
- Updates and forecasts grant expenditures.
- Ensures timely implementation of contracts and subcontracts.
- Creates and processes correspondence with granting agencies.
- Monitors invoices for outgoing subawards.
- Coordinates support for grant-related information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
- Relevant Experience (2 Years).
- Knowledge of SUBS system.
- Knowledge of agency guidelines.
- Skills: Accounting Processes, Adobe Acrobat, Analytical Thinking, Computerized Accounting, Grant Administration, Grants Accounting, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Workday Software.
