About the role

  • Responsible for the timely processing of Workday documents for the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and the Division of Comparative Medicine
  • Responsible for the creation, data integrity, and/or department approval of various online documents (requisitions, purchase orders, travel documents, change orders, and invoices)
  • Responds to various inquiries from departmental stakeholders, suppliers, and central processing areas
  • Resolves issues as they arise
  • Assist with administrative general accounting and system-related projects on an as-needed basis with direction from the supervisor
  • Responsible for preparing various general ledger entries to facilitate monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing and for reconciling, reporting, and analyzing various general ledger accounts
  • Assist with special projects such as the annual financial budgets
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education
