About the role

  • Oversee the configuration, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Epic Beacon, Epic Research, and Genomics modules.
  • Lead and mentor teams of Epic analysts and IT operational professionals.
  • Develop and enforce organizational policies, standards, and guidelines for software configuration.
  • Partner with oncology, research, pathology, genomics, and other stakeholder groups.
  • Ensure successful integration of genomic data and external laboratory interfaces within Epic.
  • Direct project planning and execution.
  • Promote a culture of quality by driving the adoption of testing standards.
  • Champion high-quality user experience by engaging end users in workflow and configuration evaluations.
  • Serve as application manager for Epic Research and Beacon capabilities.
  • Drive enterprise efforts related to biomedical data interoperability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Five years of Epic experience, including at least two years in Beacon, Research, or Genomics modules.
  • Epic certifications in Beacon Oncology, Epic Research, or Genomics.
  • Relevant Experience (2 Years).
