About the role

  • Reviews and analyzes applications submitted for admission or licensure to practice law in Washington
  • Communicates with and responds to inquiries from the public, applicants and members about qualifications for a license
  • Administers the bar exams and LPO exams
  • Ensures applicants comply with all regulatory requirements for admission or licensure to practice law
  • Assists the manager with administrative support to the Board of Bar Examiners

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or other related 2-year degree program
  • 2 years of relevant working experience related to this position
  • Strong analytical skills and good judgment
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications and software within Windows
  • Professional customer and client services.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: legal field, regulatory environment, website page creation and/or editing experience
