About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You are responsible for revenue and profit for your physical key accounts and manage all activities to achieve sustainable sales growth.
  • You develop innovative go-to-market strategies across all channels and initiate product collaborations as well as targeted sales initiatives that keep our releases visible in retail over the long term.
  • You analyze sell-through figures, market shares and product performance — and you use these insights as a compass for smart optimizations.
  • You maintain our relationships with key accounts, present release highlights and strategies as an equal partner, and negotiate confidently on terms, promotions and order volumes.
  • As a cross-functional liaison, you work with marketing, record labels, logistics and our international teams, actively supporting them with your market input for assessments and innovative product development.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You have a degree (Business Administration, Economics, Communications) or a commercial/vocational qualification and relevant experience in account management or sales.
  • Music is not just a job for you, it’s a passion.
  • You handle margins, terms and KPIs with confidence and persuade others through proactivity, efficiency and strong negotiation skills.
  • Whether in annual reviews or internal meetings — you communicate clearly and persuasively in German and English.
  • You have solid industry knowledge and make data-driven decisions with a clear commercial mindset.
  • Your structured way of working enables you to act confidently under time pressure and make pragmatic decisions.
  • You can both design a long-term trade strategy and keep a firm grip on day-to-day project management for schedules and supply chains.
