About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the end-to-end user journey for CNN Underscored
- Lead the end-to-end experience and user lifecycle of Underscored
- Conduct continuous qualitative and quantitative research to identify friction points
- Partner closely with Design, UX Research, Engineering, and Editorial leads
- Define core performance metrics balancing business goals with user utility
- Generate product briefs, user stories, and documentation to drive alignment
- Lead the execution of an MVP and evolve it iteratively based on user and business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of consumer-facing product management experience
- Experience leading complex and ambiguous customer problems in shopping, commerce, decision-making or loyalty
- Demonstrated experience of taking a product or major business line through the full lifecycle
- Deep expertise in user research, persona development, and Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) frameworks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with stakeholders
- Experience with editorial partners and curiosity about content, formats, and storytelling
