About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with product, engineering, research, editorial, data, marketing, and content strategy teams
- Create user experiences engaged by millions of audiences
- Work on Newsroom Platforms
- Transform ideas into information architecture diagrams, experience journeys, user flows, etc.
- Conduct regular user research sessions
- Perform usability tests and interpret data
- Create, contribute, and maintain tokens and components for design system
- Champion design principles and serve editorial teams' needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 + years of professional experience as a Product Designer
- Design portfolio demonstrating strong UX and visual design solutions
- A mastery of Figma, including variables, components, styles, and shared libraries
- AI prototyping experience using tools such as Figma Make, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in utilizing, creating and modifying design system components
- Experience working within large-scale or enterprise organizations
- Strong understanding of best practices for user experience design
