Key responsibilities & impact

Explore insights about users through various methods such as surveys, interviews, and data analysis
Own the research process from screening participants to analyzing data and synthesizing results
Develop research plans in partnership with Product leads and Designers
Conduct research that drives product insights for decision making on features/enhancements
Effectively communicate findings and craft actionable recommendations
Establish strong relationships with product management and cross-functional teams
Collaborate with the larger Research & Analytics team for strategic initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience as a UX researcher or research analyst; internships or graduate level work considered in lieu of experience
D2C experience researching touchpoints in the acquisition and conversion funnel
Experience working with cross functional teams in support of product development
Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver complex messages to diverse audiences
Proficient in MS Suite, usability study software, and/or statistical research software
BA Human Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology or Social Sciences
Strong problem-solving aptitude and natural curiosity
Experience working in digital news or a strong interest in news
