Key responsibilities & impact

Overall responsibility for the development and production of selected local language feature films in Japan
Evaluating/developing original concepts for feature films
Preparing English and Japanese creative packages
Reviewing scripts and supervising writers
Coordinating with Production Company for budget and schedule confirmation
Attending preproduction meetings and coordinating with internal departments
Keeping track of daily progress reports
Confirming postproduction schedule with Production Company
Organizing audience screenings and end roll credits

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS degree or equivalent required
Fluent level of spoken/written English and Japanese
Minimum 2 years of production assisting experience and know-how in Japanese feature film production working ‘in-house’ for a distribution led co-production/financier
