About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- managing the cloud architecture in SAP environment
- responsible for overall cloud infrastructure build, design, deployment and support in SAP environment
- providing architectural support and guidance in Basis Infrastructure space
- participating in 24/7 production support with very minimal supervision
- Installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, monitoring and performance tuning and troubleshooting of: SAP S/4, SAP MDG, SAP BRIM, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP SRM, SAP SCM, APO/Live Cache, SAP GRC, SAP IQ, SAP CRM, SAP LVM, MDM, Catalog, EP and Solution Manager
- Leading Proof of Concept and guiding team on new technologies
- Providing architecture improvement guidance and execution support in AWS cloud
- Maintain and manage SAP Portal System.
- Manage backups and restores, disaster recovery, high availability of systems.
- Manage and satisfy SOX and other audit controls.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10 years deep SAP Basis Administration experience
- 5+ years of experience working in a NetWeaver 7.0 or higher environment
- 3+ years of experience in S/4HANA, BRIM and BW/4HANA environment
- 2+ years of experience supporting SAP in Cloud environment
- Minimum of five complete life-cycle implementations.
- Experience with multiple SAP components: as many as possible from the list above.
- Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA , SAP SCM, APO/Live Cache, SAP GRC, SAP IQ, SAP SRM, Portal, BTP, Fiori Launchpad, SAP CRM
- Experience with Enhancement Packages, ABAP and Java stack administration including system copies.
- Experience supporting SAP in AWS cloud environment
- Advanced level knowledge in managing SAP with HANA and/or DB2 databases with back up, High Availability and DR solution
- Intermediate knowledge with SAP cloud platform (SCP) Integration, Cloud Connector, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Experience with HANA, DB2 and Unix administration concepts as necessary for Basis work, including scripting in AWS Cloud and On Premise environment
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills both written and verbal to include translating complex technical issues clearly and precisely to both technical and non-technical parties
- Familiar with ODATA services and Fiori based Application Deployment.
- Strong analytical and technical communication skills.
