About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define project scope, create and manage project plans, coordinate release schedules, and ensure on-time delivery
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and other stakeholders across different teams to align on goals, priorities, and technical strategies
- Identify, track, and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, proactively recommending solutions to prevent blockers
- Leverage a technical background to understand complex system designs, architecture decisions, and integration points, providing informed recommendations without being the primary engineer
- Create and maintain project documentation, and communicate project status, risks, and impact to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Develop and refine processes for reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement, including using data and metrics to monitor performance and inform decisions
- Contribute to long-term technical and product strategy and help define roadmaps for technical teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in technical program management in a technical or cloud/SaaS environment
- A 4-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is often preferred, or equivalent work experience
- A solid technical background with the ability to engage deeply with engineering teams on complex technical details
- Proficiency in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management
- Exceptional skills in building relationships and communicating effectively with diverse groups of people across the organization
