About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collecting, analyzing and summarizing data from primary and secondary sources for daily, weekly and ad hoc reporting
- Using software applications (such as: Nielsen, MRI, Star Media, etc.) to generate data and reports and update internal systems
- Tracking and analyzing audience performance and trends to inform stakeholders across the company
- Contributing sports knowledge and analytical expertise during department meetings and strategy sessions
- Additional tasks will be dependent on experience and strengths
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5+ years of industry work experience
- Ability to master new software and technology
- Must have strong math skills and sharp attention to detail
- Solid writing and verbal communication skills
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate data and analysis thru visual design and written communication
- Experience with Nielsen software and Star Media Estimator is a must
- Knowledge of sports leagues, sports industry and sports landscape are a plus
- Previous experience in Programming or Ad Sales Research is a plus
- Proficiency in creating programming estimates is a plus
