About the role

  • Participate in functional projects and support configuration activities for Workday’s Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking, Scheduling product suite
  • Work independently and resolve complex Workday bugs impacting global / regional level workforce
  • Support day-to-day business operations to troubleshoot issues and develop configuration fixes
  • Ensure thorough documentation of requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes
  • Collaborate with team members and other functional teams (e.g. People & Culture)
  • Actively participate in discovery sessions with stakeholder(s) and/or project sponsor(s)
  • Demonstrate Workday configuration through the development of a proof of concept (prototype)
  • Support configuration testing efforts executing testing for any new Workday features being adopted
  • Support management on ad-hoc projects as required
  • Assist in development of training materials and partner in change management efforts and organizational readiness
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders and customers in remote locations
  • Maintain process controls to help design, implement and/or monitor operations as part of initial configuration/implementation and continuous improvement
  • Participate in various process improvement projects, and assist in the process and system change implementations
  • Support PMO efforts for Workday projects
  • Understand and execute critical path activities and resolve or escalate issues as needed
  • Deliver on project/process documentation as part of transition of support to operations

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Workday operational or configuration experience in HR, Payroll, Time Tracking or Absence
  • Experience in development and implementation of process and systems changes required
  • Prior experience in multinational environment required
  • Bachelor's degree in a business related field, or equivalent combination of training and work experience required
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Fluency in business English
  • Ability to gather and translate business requirements/technical solutions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/activities and prioritize appropriately
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn quickly through instruction and self-training
  • Proven analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Passion for customer service
  • Be solution oriented with the flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
