Analyst, Workday Configuration

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in functional projects and support configuration activities for Workday’s Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking, Scheduling product suite
- Work independently and resolve complex Workday bugs impacting global / regional level workforce
- Support day-to-day business operations to troubleshoot issues and develop configuration fixes
- Ensure thorough documentation of requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes
- Collaborate with team members and other functional teams (e.g. People & Culture)
- Actively participate in discovery sessions with stakeholder(s) and/or project sponsor(s)
- Demonstrate Workday configuration through the development of a proof of concept (prototype)
- Support configuration testing efforts executing testing for any new Workday features being adopted
- Support management on ad-hoc projects as required
- Assist in development of training materials and partner in change management efforts and organizational readiness
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders and customers in remote locations
- Maintain process controls to help design, implement and/or monitor operations as part of initial configuration/implementation and continuous improvement
- Participate in various process improvement projects, and assist in the process and system change implementations
- Support PMO efforts for Workday projects
- Understand and execute critical path activities and resolve or escalate issues as needed
- Deliver on project/process documentation as part of transition of support to operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of Workday operational or configuration experience in HR, Payroll, Time Tracking or Absence
- Experience in development and implementation of process and systems changes required
- Prior experience in multinational environment required
- Bachelor's degree in a business related field, or equivalent combination of training and work experience required
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of tools
- Fluency in business English
- Ability to gather and translate business requirements/technical solutions
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/activities and prioritize appropriately
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn quickly through instruction and self-training
- Proven analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Passion for customer service
- Be solution oriented with the flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
