About the role
- Lead the transformation of CNN’s Health and Wellness vertical
- Work with the editorial lead to develop a new vision for this vertical, grounded in customer needs and insights
- Surface and design against customer needs in the space
- Drive a coordinated and deliberate effort across: design, product, technology, marketing, audience, sales, and other disciplines
- Champion change and ambition through coalition building, communication, and infectious energy
Requirements
- 12+ years of general management or product ownership experience
- Experience delivering new end-to-end product experiences in the media space features for a global brand
- Experience in people and change management, directing both direct reports and dotted line cross-functional partners
- Prior experience in the Health and Wellness is a plus
- A deep interest in the space is a must
- More than 1 or 2 years at a publisher or software company in the health media space is ideal
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate and present to stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Demonstrate strong ownership to deliver exceptional customer experiences and customer empathy
- Experience developing consumer facing experiences across multiple platforms (e.g., web, mobile, social, newsletters)
- Experience working with and managing the needs of multiple stakeholders and business teams
- Experience driving clarity in ambiguous situations and drive forward progress
- Experience with data analysis and driving insights and making business decisions through data
